Definitions

We, Us, Plenta, The website: all refer to the web site www.plenta.ca, it's creators and owners.
You: the visitor of the website.
Customers, Buyers: Users who use the website to order food items.
Sellers: Users who use the website in order to sell food items. They hae their own page, and secured access to administration website.

Collection of data from customers

Pleta is a food marketplace. In order to process your food order, we need to collect some basic information, like name, email, phone number, and address. We never ask for any information that is not needed for the safe and efficient ordering and delivery of food.
We store and process information about orders that have been made on the website.
Each order contains information about the seller (name, address, etc.), the buying client (name, email, phone, address, etc.), and the order items (names, quantities, prices, totals, etc.)
We store and process information that is created during the ordering and checkout process, like location and device info. We use this information to provide the sellers with the information they need in order to fulfill your orders, and to authenticate users.

Collection of data from sellers

For sellers/store owners: We collect details that can help our users find your store and buy from it, such as business name, owner's name, address, phone, email, address, hours of operations. We also collect information about the food items you upload to the website, such as item name, description, picture, and price.

We store and process information about orders that have been made on the website.
Each order contains information about the seller (name, address, etc.), the buying client (name, email, phone, address, etc.), and the order items (names, quantities, prices, totals, etc.)

We use the above information to provide your with the service of selling your food items, and to make our user interface useful and easy to use.

Collection of data for all users

For security, authentication, and authorization, we store a user record for every registered user. We keep the email and encrypted password for authentication (who you are) and authorization (what are you allowed to do).

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file saved by the browser, and can contain a small amount of data. This is a common technique for websites to identify users. Plenta uses cookies and/or local storage to recognize your device and to personalize your experience.
We may also use cookies and/or local storage to serve targeted ads from third parties such as Google and Facebook, and as part of analytics systems such as Google Analytics.

Data retention and deletion

Plenta only keeps user information for as long as needed for legitimate business purposes, and to comply with the law. Users can request to delete their account at any time. If no order was placed by the user, the account will be permanently delete. If any order was placed, we need to keep basic information in order to keep the integrity of our bookkeeping system. Sellers can close their shop/page and any time. Order information will be kept for bookkeeping and accounting integrity.

Disclosure

Plenta will not sell, give, rent or release personal data in any way to anyone. We will not provide or disclose your personal information to any third party, unless required to do so by a court order.

Children

Plenta is intended for adults only. People under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the website. Neither as sellers nor as buyers.
If you believe any child as signed up with plenta, please inform us at the contact us page. We will delete their information.
